Networker’s Guide to the Center of the Universe

How to get connected with & in Fremont

Here in the Center of the Universe, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce is focused on two things: 1. strengthening the business climate and 2. improving the quality of life in the Fremont community. While we work tirelessly on these, we have outlined the ways you can most powerfully get connected.

Join the Fremont Chamber! Begin using your member benefits the day you join!

Attend monthly Fremont Chamber programs. Topics rotate between business education, advocacy and political awareness—and attendees are just as varied.

Speak on a Fremont Chamber program panel. What’s your area of expertise? Pitch us your idea for a business-centric program topic.

Join the Chamber Board. Want to get plugged into the CENTER of the Center of the Universe? Get a seat at the table.

Attend a Board Meeting. Meet your board members! They are a comprehensive cross-section of industry and experience, representing the diverse community of the Center of the Universe.

Participate in Fremont Chamber committees. Is there an area of impact in the Fremont community that you would like to lead? Join a committee.

Join ANY Board. Many nonprofits in Fremont are on the lookout for individuals to help to steer and grow their organizations.

Expand Your Network. Take advantage of the reciprocal membership* we have with the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. *Small Businesses of 15 or fewer employees.

Need an introduction? Haven’t run into the exact business that you were hoping to connect with at a networking event? We’re happy to connect you with other members.

Not relevant during the pandemic:

Volunteer at Community Events. Become part of the teams that execute Fremont’s favorite fun, like Oktoberfest, Fremont Fair and Solstice Weekend.

Attend Community Events. Neighborhood events, like the Fremont Block Party, are multi-business collaborations—meet many companies in one fell swoop.
