Fremont Mischief Distilling is sponsoring a local endurance road racing team in their first Lucky Dog Endurance Road Race at The Ridge in Shelton, Washington. Join us for a livestream watch party to cheer on the team while you sip on a surprise, race-car-themed cocktail.

Our dedication to the craft is poured into every dram of our award-winning spirits. We look for that dedication in each community effort we support. Little did we know that across from the street from our distillery right here in Fremont was a race team dedicated to club racing a vintage BMW in the Pacific Northwest.

HRacing is a family effort started by the Houlihan’s: John, Valerie and their son Jack. They commissioned the build of their car #287 – a 1989 BMW E30 coupe — with Racer on Rails in Covington, WA. Racer on Rails is one of the premier high performance race car fabrication and support shops in the PNW. John and Jack normally race in the Pro3 series – a spec class of all E30 BMWs. The Pro3 field is known as hyper-competitive with mere tenths of seconds separating podium finishers from the rest of the field in 30 minute sprint races. But while Jack is away at Texas A&M, John is getting into a bit of race mischief on his own.

HRacing is combining with Racer on Rails to field a 4-driver team to compete in the Lucky Dog Endurance Race. John will be joined by Bryce Allen, Jordan Allen and Memo Calderon – who built the car — to pilot #287 during an 8 hour race Saturday and a 7 hour race Sunday.

This is the first endurance challenge for HRacing #287. Mischief’s sponsorship will literally help fuel their competitive passion, dedication and, of course, a celebratory spirit AFTER the checkered flag has flown!
