Chambers and business organizations all around the region have come together in partnership with King County to provide cloth face coverings, disposable masks, and hand sanitizer to businesses in King County to help keep employees healthy and safe. We’re offering two choices for businesses to get face coverings, masks and hand sanitizer. Order your Small Business Safe Start Supplies Kit here online and choose to either Contact-Less Pickup or Shipping.
Option 1: In-Person Contact-Less Pick Up
Contact-less pickups will happen until July 24th across King County.
Option 2: Have Your Kit Shipped
Businesses can also order kits online and just pay $20 for shipping. Products can only be shipped to King County business addresses and ordered. Kits will be shipped out next week. Please note that hand sanitizer will not be available for shipping.

Keep Fremont Open, Wear a Mask

A statewide order requires individuals to wear a face covering in indoor public spaces such as stores, offices and restaurants. The order also requires face coverings outdoors when you can’t stay 6 feet apart from others. There are exemptions, including people with certain disabilities or health conditions, people who are deaf or hard of hearing, and children under the age of 2. Zoo’s Jungle Party Fundraiser Goes Virtual

Live Auctions Through July 10th

Woodland Park Zoo’s 44th annual Jungle Party, chaired by Stacey Campbell, Effie Gleason and Stephanie True, is going virtual this year and coming to you! While the community can’t physically gather together this year, participants can celebrate with and support the zoo from the comfort of their homes virtually and in spirit!
The zoo extends a roaring thanks to Brown Bear Car Wash and Western Towboat Company for their title sponsorship support of virtual Jungle Party.
Jungle Party is the zoo’s signature fundraiser, raising more than $1.7 million each year for the zoo. This year’s Jungle Party funds will go directly toward providing the best possible day-to-day care and welfare for the nearly 1,000 animals that call the zoo home, supporting day-to-day operations to keep the zoo running, and continuing important and memorable programs and experiences for guests and the community. Registration for virtual Jungle Party is free.

SBA Accepting New PPP Applications Again

s of July 6th at 6 a.m. the SBA is accepting Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan Applications again. The new deadline is Aug. 8, 2020. There is still $130 billion available. As before, businesses must work directly with lenders to apply for PPP. SBA’s Lender Match has been reverted to a CDFI and small lender finder for PPP.
PPP materials are available in 17 other languages including Spanish, Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese – Simplified and Traditional), French, German, Gujarati, Haitian Creole, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Tagalog and Vietnamese.
