Fremont Neighborhood Cleanup – Spring CITO 2018

April 26, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Free

Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) is an environmental initiative that is supported by the worldwide geocaching community. Geocachers and community groups work together at organized events to help improve outdoor spaces and preserve the natural beauty of geocache-friendly spaces by picking up trash and by removing invasive species. Since its initial launch, more than 333,000 people have volunteered at 16,000 CITO events and over 8,000,000 liters of garbage have been collected.

Join Geocaching HQ staff to clean up the Fremont Neighborhood
Thursday, April 26, 2018, 5:00-6:30pm
Meet beneath the Aurora bridge, along the Burke Gilman Trail

Attending a Cache In, Trash Out (CITO) event is a great way to meet new geocaching friends and to help give back to the areas where we play. We will be cleaning up the Burke Gilman trail and streets within the Fremont neighborhood. Non-geocachers are welcome too!

We will bring all the supplies – bags, gloves, litter grabbers, and safety vests.

This event is sponsored by Geocaching HQ Green Team and the City of Seattle’s Adopt-a-Street program. But it’s powered by geocachers! Event occurs, rain or shine. This is Seattle after all!
