Indigo Weaving Workshop at The Works Seattle

Join textile artist Jessica Bovert at The Works Seattle for a frame loom weaving workshop with indigo dyed yarns! In this class we will work on tapestry looms to create your own weaving using naturally dyed indigo and indigo overdyed yarns. All materials and tools will be provided including naturally indigo dyed cotton, wool, and locally-sourced Carmel Valley alpaca as well as a loom set to take home.

By the end of this workshop, you will not only have a firm grasp of the fundamental techniques of tapestry weaving but also the confidence to continue your weaving journey independently. We will spend the afternoon immersed in the art of weaving, experiencing the meditative beauty of this ancient craft.
