June 21-23, 2019 – Art cars from across North America descend upon Seattle
for the twenty-first annual Seattle Art Car Blow-Out at the Fremont Fair!
Catch this art gallery on wheels at the Fremont Fair in the Upper Burke Building Parking Lot, Saturday June 22nd from 10am-8pm and Sunday June 23rd from 11am-6pm. Friday we’ll caravan and explore the city for the out-of-towners (beginning at the NW African American Museum) en route to a welcoming dinner. A cruise to the fair will happen at 10am on Sunday from Aljoya Northgate, past the Fremont Troll and entering the Fremont Fair at Evanston before a second day of exhibition.
This year’s show features over 60 head turning decorated vehicles, including many never before exhibited in the NW (from as far away as Kansas, Louisiana and Texas, as well as several from Canada). Local art cars are invited to join the spectacle, including the ever-popular Barbie Dream Hearse, the Flamingo Jeep, the Chewbaru & Excessories Odd-yssey. More are welcome to register at the Seattle Art Car Blowout’s website here.

Here comes the parade!
On Saturday, June 22, the streets of Fremont will come alive to celebrate the summer solstice. The parade represents the funky, creative spirit that makes our neighborhood so special.
We invite you to partner with us to make the Solstice Parade possible! As a 100% volunteer operated organization, we could not do it without the support of the community. Donate online here or by check (FAC/Solstice Parade Campaign, 3940 Fremont Ave N, Seattle, WA 98103).
Please see the website for additional information or contact Dayna at donate@fremontartscouncil.org.
