Center of the Universe Events & Business Spotlights

We’re bringing together some savvy business women
and businesses at our next program!
Begun in 1937 as Burke Millwork by J.R. Burke, the company moved to its location in Fremont in 1939. The Fremont Dock Co. works within the community, making the Fremont neighborhood strong and a financially sound investment for businesses that lease the commercial and industrial spaces.
The original vision, in 1983, for Hale’s Ales was to produce world-class ales, by the use of traditional English methods, using locally sourced natural ingredients, and to deliver the finished ales to local beer lovers as absolutely fresh as possible. That vision and mission remains unchanged today.
