GiveBIG in the Center of the Universe May 5th & 6th

GiveBIG Washington is a fundraising event that starts with early giving on April 15 and culminates with a 48-hour public campaign on May 5th and May 6th.
Through GiveBIG, individuals, businesses, and organizations come together to invest in healing our communities. Support nonprofits providing food, shelter, health, and social services; fighting for a more just world; expanding our horizons through art and learning; and many more valued missions.

Friends of the Troll’s Knoll is a community group dedicated to strengthening our community and caring for the green space surrounding the Fremont Troll. Our vision is to expand the existing westside Troll’s Knoll park to include the east side right of way. A gift to Friends of the Troll’s Knoll supports our clean-up efforts, art installation projects, and future park plans.
Help us unlock $1,000! Our fiscal sponsor, Seattle Parks Foundation, will contribute $100 for each unique donor that Friends of the Troll’s Knoll receives during GiveBIG, up to $1,000/ ten (10) unique donors. Bridge Artist in Residence: Graphic Novel Artists

Deadline: Thursday, May 28, 2020, 11:59pm Pacific.

The Seattle Office of Arts & Culture (ARTS), in partnership with the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) will select two graphic novel creators for a unique project-based residency within two of Seattle’s iconic bridges.
The northwest tower of the Fremont Bridge and the southeastern tower of the University Bridge will become a working studio/office for the artists to use the historic bridge and location as inspiration for their work. Learn more here!
