Economic Injury Disaster Loan and EIDL Advance Portal Reopened Yesterday for Agricultural Businesses

SBA Administrator Jovita Carranza announced yesterday that agricultural businesses are now eligible for SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) and EIDL Advance programs.
SBA’s EIDL portal reopened May 4th as a result of funding authorized by Congress through the Paycheck Protection Program and Healthcare Enhancement Act. The legislation, signed into law by the President one week ago, provided additional funding for farmers and ranchers and certain other agricultural businesses affected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
For any questions related to EIDL or EIDL Advance, contact the SBA Office of Disaster Assistance Customer Service Center at 1-800-659-2955 or [email protected]

Fremont Chamber Business Spotlights

The CF Foundation is the world’s leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis, and nearly every CF-specific drug available today was made possible with our financial support. We are a donor-funded, 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is fully accredited by the Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) Wise Giving Alliance program.
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a rare genetic disease found in about 30,000 people in the U.S. If you have CF or are considering testing for it, knowing about the role of genetics in CF can help you make informed decisions about your health care.
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has unrestricted financial reserves of about 10 times its budgeted 2019 annual expenses, following a one-time royalty sale in 2014. These funds, along with the public’s continuing support, are needed to help accelerate our efforts to pursue a lifelong cure for this fatal disease, fund development of new therapies, and help all people with CF live full, productive lives. You can help make CF stand for Cure Found, donate today!
Founded on a commitment to the dignity, independence, and well-being of seniors, Wallingford Community Senior Center has been serving the community since 1979. We are a warm and welcoming space where older adults in North Seattle can continue to learn and thrive while moving through life’s transitions in a positive and healthy way. WCSC provides vital programs and services including healthy meals, social services, access to important resources, computer classes, and programs that promote health and well-being. Perhaps most important of all, WCSC is a place for seniors to connect with friends and community.
A BIG “thank you” to a pool of generous anonymous donors who will match all gifts to WCSC dollar-for-dollar, up to $3,500! Thanks to this matching challenge, your gift will go even further to support healthy, positive aging for seniors in our community! COVID-19 has been hard on all of us, but especially on seniors. Give to WCSC!
