Christmas Ships Cruise Through Fremont!

The Argosy Christmas Ships are back! An annual Seattle tradition: a parade of brightly-lighted boats will cruise Lake Union on December 23. Three sailings from South Lake Union cover all shores:

  • 2:00-3:30 Carolling at Hiram Chittenden Locks at 2:35 and back.
  • 5:00-6:30 Aurora Bridge, past Gas Works, carolling at Ivar’s Salmon House at 5:35 and on to Portage Bay and back.
  • 8:00-9:45 Carolling at Seattle Yacht Club at 8:30pm and at Gas Works Park (with bonfires!) at 9:10pm.

Stopping at pre-planned locations, the lead ship hosts an onboard chorus singing Christmas carols for neighbors and community to watch from shore.

This year Seattle Parks and Recreation is pleased to add bonfires back into the mix. Community members can bring a warm drink in a thermos and gather around the fire to watch and even sing along to the choir while the night lights up with much needed holiday cheer.

These events are free, and all ages are welcome. Find cruise route maps here.
